Background:  

I am from the Indonesia. My home town in West Sumatra, and lived in Bogor-West Java. I am graduated from The Bogor Agricultural University in Indonesia, majoring in agricultural economics. My graduate thesis was about Household Economics in Rural Area, and Technology Productivity of Indonesian Small Medium Enterprises was the topic for my master thesis.

Study Area: Agribusiness 

Project Title: The Complex Adaptive Processes of Supply Chain Formation- case studies in Indonesian Mango Supply Chain in West Java and East Java

Project outline: Supply chain formation is a complex adaptive process involving co-evolving mechanisms of agents, adapting their functions and rules in line with their operating environment. Two case studies were applied: marketing relationships between one exporter and the Mango Farmer Association  in West Java, and with the Union of Farmer Groups in East Java. The government worked in facilitating roles to promote this supply chain.  However, this newly formed relationship terminated shortly after one harvesting season. This study aimed to examine why and how the supply chain relationships collapse; and how this situation could be improved. Qualitative data was collected from interviews, group discussions, archival data and field observation. with the stakeholders. The data was analysed into matrixes, critical event series and causal loops.
