Students undertake a one semester industrial placement in the sixth semester of this full-time program. Go to Industrial Placement
Students undertake this three week tropical natural & rural systems tour (LPWM3003) which provides a practical context for examining principles of natural & rural systems developed in earlier semesters of formal coursework. Go to Northern Tour 2007
Suitably qualified students may undertake an honours program in the fourth year. This Requires that students undertake:
1. A #4 Research Project
2. The following courses:
  - ENVM3506 International & National Conservation Policy
  - ENVM3508 Public Sector Management & Conservation Planning
  - ENVM3522 Research, Development and Extension Methodologies
  - LPWM4001 Contemporary Case Studies
