Wool testing facilities. The testing of domestic wool is rare, not because of the modest infrastructure and skills involved, but because wool growers and dealers have low incentives to use wool standards and testing systems. A range of institutions has the authority and the basic infrastructure to test domestic wool. Replication of testing across national and international borders also increases marketing costs.
