Rangelands Australia

Rangelands Australia was recently established to build capacity in industry and rural communities to deal pro-actively with ecologically sustainable development and cross-sectoral issues in Australia's rangelands and the demands of a successful 21st Century business. RA is a national network of excellence in rangeland management education, training and research, that aims to provide flexible access to range management skills and education.The hub of the network, the Rangeland Management Institute, is located at UQ Gatton.

Environmental Management Centre

The Environmental Management Centre (EMC) is a research, consulting and training group that administers postgraduate environmental studies, and provides environmental consulting services both nationally and internationally. Particular emphasis is given to the theory and practice of sustainability, ecological economics, environmental impact assessment and audits, Cleaner Production, environmental law and policy, eco-tourism, natural resource management, and management of World Heritage Areas.The Centre offers both coursework and research postgraduate degrees.
